In the spring of 2008, Missy Higgins played dates across North America alongside Brett Dennen and Mason Jennings, on a tour sponsored by Paste Magazine and in partnership with CLIF BARGreenNotes. The entire tour was made happier and healthier thanks to the organic food for the artists and carbon-reducing biodiesel for the tour bus.

The Sound of White, Higgins' debut, and Australia's best-selling album of 2005, has given way to On A Clear Night, an energetic and uplifting homage to a poignant realization. Missy, referring to a night spent staring up at the clear sky above, recalls, "It dawned on me how small we are, how short life is, and how ridiculous it therefore is to spend any of it feeling unfulfilled." Indeed, much will soon be made clear by this fast rising star.
