A multi-instrumentalist, one-man-band who plays guitars, Yidaki's
(didgeridoos), Weissenborn slide guitars, stomp boxes, djembes,
harmonica, and many different percussions and drums, Rudd made his U.S.
debut in 2004 with Solace. In the three years since, his popularity and
reputation have begun to mushroom over a string of conscious, heartfelt

Rudd's music is as inspirational as it is melodic. Scratch just below
the surface and you will find a man who believes that we are all
capable of inspiring one another. Over the spring and summer of 2007,
Xavier and CLIF Bar created the Better People campaign, based on his
first single, Better People from White Moth. The song and associated
campaign was an expression of deep gratitude to those who were taking
steps to make a positive impact in the world. The campaign highlighted
the profiles and stories of hundreds of Better People across the world
who are continuing to inspire, educate, and activate others with their
amazing stories.
