JBT and Brett's tour schedules will allow them to get out and lend a hand at three environmental events! They'll be showing up to help out (and maybe play a little music) in San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle. In CLIF Bar's neck of the woods, San Francisco, they'll be joined by the CLIF crew too.

San Diego Beach Clean-Up with San Diego Coastkeeper and San Diego Surfrider
Location: Ocean Beach, Mouth of the San Diego River
Details: Beach Clean-up. Bring gloves

*Please note: Due to the recent oil spill The National Park Service has closed Ocean Beach and cannot predict if it will be open for this event. A back-up plan of meeting at the same location and picking up trash in Golden Gate Park and surrounding neighborhoods will be put in place if this is the case. All volunteers are requested to RSVP so that they will receive a reminder email a few days before the event to give an update of the cleanup location and any other change in logistics.
Seattle Urban Forest Restoration with Earthcorps and the Green Seattle Partnership
Location: Carkeek Park*
Details: Tree planting and invasive species removal. Bring gloves, a sack lunch and clothing for weather (we'll be here rain or shine).
